"In one ear..."

Do you have a daughter that doesn't seem to want to listen? Are you ever in the mood to ignore the world? These are two occasions where these earrings are great to wear. Of course, at any time they should merit a good laugh. Wear them to work and see if anyone notices them!

I came up with this peyote design after a humorous discussion took place on a needlework newsgroup about tiny earring samplers. I was just getting into beadwork at the time, and beaded earrings made more sense to me than cross-stitched ones. My first attempt, made with regular Czech seed beads didn't look good at all. Almost a year later, after discovering the wonderful world of Japanese Delica beads, I redid the earrings and loved the result. (Although my husband prefers the black and yellow colors that I used for the first pair!)
