Fiesta Ornament - Partial to Blues My latest series of ornaments came about after taking a class with Lisa Niven Kelly at a workshop. The project was supposed to be a beaded bead with lots of wire work and "encrustations" on the outer surface of the wooden bead that we used as a form. As you can see, mine didn't turn out that way. It quite literally grew, going through several different incarnations while I was working on it. I must say that I'm very pleased with the final result, even if it is no longer recognizable as a "beaded bead"!! |

Fiesta Ornament - Black Elegance Yet another in my Fiesta series, this one combines shiny black, matte black, matte white seed beads with crystal clear Swarovski 4mm bicones. This piece is very elegant - the Swarovski crystals really sparkle! |
